¡estaría bueno!: se usa irónicamente para decir que algo sería inaceptable, intolerable o el colmo.
¡estamos/estaríamos buenos!: expresión exclamativa que se dice cuando alguien se encuentra / se encontraría en una situación muy mala. [Véase ser bueno/estar bien].
-No te preocupes. No pienso denunciarte -¡Estaría bueno! — -Don't worry. I don't plan to report you -I should (jolly well) hope not!
-Y él se cree que va a salirse con la suya otra vez ¡Estaría bueno! —And he thinks he's going to get his own way again. That's not going to happen!
-Estaría bueno que viniera, después del desprecio que nos ha hecho — It'd be just great if he came, after snubbing us like that
-Estás bueno si piensas que te dejarán hablar con ellos así como así — You've got another think/thing coming if you think they'll let you talk to them just like that [≈Estás equivocado]
