-Entonces se me ocurrió que podía ser él — It then occurred to me / dawned on me that it could be him
→Se me pasó por la cabeza que podía ser él — It crossed my mind that it could be him
-¿Por qué no llamaste a Pablo? -No sé, no se me ocurrió, supongo — Why didn't you call Pablo? -I don't know. It just didn't occur to me/ It didn't cross my mind, I guess
-Si se te ocurre algo que necesitemos, llámame — If you think of anything we need, call me
-Di el primer nombre que se te ocurra — Say the first name that comes to mind/ comes into your head
